This helps prevent hydrate formation, wax deposition, and ice blockage at the wellhead and early gathering section. After preheating, the medium enters the gathering pipeline, where the Explosion-Proof Electric Heater (Crude Oil pipeline) compensates for heat loss along the line. The system keeps the fluid above the wax appearance temperature and hydrate formation range, reducing shutdowns for wax removal or blockage clearing.
At the oil gathering station, XGTHERMAL's Convection-Type Explosion-Proof Electric Heater provides safe space heating in hazardous areas such as compressor stations or control rooms, ensuring operational comfort without ignition risks.
Upon entering the integrated processing station, Vacuum Phase-Change Explosion-Proof Electric Heater is used together with the Explosion-proof Electromagnetic Heater to provide a stable heat source for multi-stage separators, filters, and pressure regulation and metering devices. This prevents high-pressure natural gas from freezing due to the Joule-Thomson effect during pressure reduction and throttling, while avoiding ice blockage in valves, filters, and downstream gas pipeline networks.
At natural gas stations (CNG, LNG, or city gate stations), Explosion-Proof Electric Heater (Natural Gas Pipeline) are installed before and after pressure regulation. With segmented power control and PLC automation, outlet temperature is adjusted according to inlet pressure and flow rate. This protects against freezing without overheating, improves gas utilization, and extends the service life of downstream equipment. The system is designed in accordance with explosion-proof standards such as GB3836 and IEC 60079, with a protection class up to IP65, suitable for high-pressure, high-humidity, and high-corrosion outdoor environments.
During reservoir production, water, crude oil, and natural gas often flow together through wellbores and surface pipelines. Temperature and pressure fluctuations can lead to emulsification, gas-liquid separation, and hydrate formation. XGTHERMAL explosion-proof electric heaters can be installed in pipelines or vessels handling water-cut crude oil, wet gas, and three-phase media. Convective heat transfer and accurate temperature control bring the mixture into the required process range, improving fluidity and supporting downstream separation.
PLC-based interlocks for temperature, pressure, and flow allow safe unattended operation. If pressure rises abnormally or flow is interrupted, the system cuts off heating output automatically. This solution is suitable for gathering pipelines, metering skids, compressor inlets, and dehydration units, reducing reliance on steam or hot-water heating systems.
For high-wax, high-sand, or mechanically contaminated crude oil, XGTHERMAL provides Explosion-proof Oil Storage Tank Electric Heaters and temperature control systems for storage and buffer tanks. Heating maintains crude oil fluidity, accelerates sedimentation, and supports water-solid separation. By managing the temperature gradient around the tank bottom and wall, the system helps reduce oil viscosity, improve dehydration and desanding, and extend the service life of pumps and metering instruments.
